Hello!

Welcome to my blog. It’s a work in progress. Topics, content, images, information, etc will all be evolving. Probably the blogging wisdom is to pick one topic and focus on that. But, I’m not sure what topic I want to blog about, so I’m going to test a few out. Or, it may be that I just end up blogging on a variety of topics.

A bit about me. I’m a late 30s, cis-gender, white woman. I am short (under 5 feet), a bit over-weight, and love to add fun colors to my hair. I am married to an amazing graphic designer and we have one cat. I am a nerd. I love history, science, reading, trivia (I even won HQ Trivia – once), Legos, etc. I am an activist, so don’t be surprised to periodically see me branch into current issues.

I currently live in Tacoma, WA, USA and I love it. I’ve lived here for about 20 years and this city is amazing. I grew up outside of Wasilla, AK, USA and have many fantastic memories of living in Alaska. I have 3 amazing biological sisters, 1 awesome sister-in-law, 1 cool brother-in-law, 4 adorable nephews. My hero (my mother) is still in Alaska, my father (complicated relationship) lives in Colorado, and my fantastic mother & father-in-law are just a bit north in Seattle.
